What we discovered was telling: Roiward was explaining their product as too many things, attempting to solve numerous use cases rather than positioning toward different audiences with one very relevant and specific use case each.

  • What triggers the buying decision

  • How to simplify decisions (like offering pilot programs)

  • Which arguments most effectively overcome objections

This comprehensive analysis revealed a crucial insight: Roiward actually served three distinctly different client types—each with very different needs, journeys, and stakeholder maps.

Phase 3: Outline

Crafting a Unified Strategy

With three different customer types identified, we faced a complex strategic challenge: how to maintain brand coherence while serving diverse audiences effectively.

We developed clear personas, customer journeys, and stakeholder maps for each client type. The key breakthrough was creating a unified brand promise that remained relevant to all three audiences while allowing for different value propositions tailored to each.

Working closely with the Roiward CEO, we also addressed a fundamental gap: defining their tone of voice and brand personality. The startup had been operating in pure "sales mode" without developing a clear brand identity.

Phase 4: Write

Bringing Strategy to Life

With strategic clarity established, we transformed insights into practical tools:

  • Website Transformation: We created comprehensive briefing materials and worked intensively with the Roiward team to build a convincing, clear website that explained their offering and competitive advantages.
  • Sales Enablement: We developed integrated sales pitch documents and demo materials that aligned with each customer journey we had mapped.
